My $ 0.02 about religion

Wait, I will not talk about the same topic every blogger in Indonesia talked about in their blog.

How often we heard many people says:

1. "people who tends to be more religious, tends to act worst than most people"
2. "most people should just keep your religion for yourself and accept diversity"
3. "the more religious you are, the more hypocrite you are"
4. "Some religion will insists and force their own religion to others"
5. "some people treat other people differently based on their religion"

If we say so, isn't it the same? in terms of, being judgemental, treating and judging people based on their religion? What is the difference?

And I even more upset hearing comment from some people saying that "I am now atheist/not going to church/mosque/vihara because people who into religion acts worst"

So, I ask. "What do you expect when you are in a religion? are you expecting the people who is all saints? or, are you looking for the God Himself?" Please do NOT blame other people, and take responsiblity on your own acts and belief.

There's no one perfect in this world including ourselves. I do agree, before you get yourself right, do not try to judge other people. Even God Himself told us so that only if you have no sin, you have right to condemn others.

At the other hands, if someone acted ill-mannered, we shall not see what religion he/she is holding
onto, which God that he/she worshipped.

It's just the human who done wrong, do not blame the religion or even God.

So, it is just my $ 0.02 :) I hope and pray that I can maintain a balanced life in both socially and spiritually. Probably this is what our society needs, a balance in social and at the same time, be a living proof of the kindness and goodness of your religion.

Some religion says, "how you live your life, portray your God image". So, think twice if not many times before you act. I think, life can be more meaningful than a cat-fight about which religion is better.
